5 Money Habits to Save Big

Were all guilty of spending money on stuff we don’t need.  Wasting money that would be better off put to use in better ways.  By making smart choices with our money and avoiding unnecessary debt, we can create a better financial future for ourselves.  We’ve compiled a few ways to save us bundles over time.

 

Budget

By creating a budget and sticking to it we are able to control our spending.  Once we know where are money is actually going, we can then determine how best to cut cost’s and save more, allowing us to put our money to work for us.

Stay Away From Credit Cards

Credit cards are an easy money trap.  It’s very easy to swipe that plastic and forget about it when we don’t have the cash.  The problem is that plastic card can cost us thousands in interest a fees over time.  With the high interest rate associated with most cards it can be tough to catch up once your carrying large amount of debt.

 

Pay Your Bills On Time

Be sure to pay your bills on time, every time. Late fees and higher interest are add up quickly.  These costs can add tremendous amounts of extra, but avoidable debt.

 

Avoid Debt to Begin With

We can’t always pay for everything out of pocket, but avoiding debt to begin with is the best way to stay financially free.  Wait till you can buy those new clothes with cash.  Save up a bit longer for that new car.  Buy used instead of new.

 

Shop Around

Look around for the best deal.  Don’t be afraid to haggle over prices.  The internet allows us to find unlimited amounts of information, use it to your advantage.
